RDR Syphon Repair - North Ashburton River
The Rangitata Diversion Race (RDR) was in need of repairs after the June 2021 Floods. The flood waters got in behind the original concrete protection work from 1938 and damaged seven syphons, tearing off some of the concrete armouring. We were the chosen contractor to undertake the repairs, currently making great progress on the 4th Syphon. Our great team of concrete placers working hard to get each individual panels boxed & poured correctly as well as placing a few pre poured, pre-cast panels for the straighter section of the syphon design.
